Portrait of agirl

I took a file of 10''x14'' in Photoshop Cs2 and took a hard brush with 100 opacity  6 flow. First I chose a grey color to sketch the face on a new layer, then inanother layer under the previous one put flat skin color redish yellow, brown for hair and a blue in the back ground. Then took another layer on top and worked on the dark portons of the face and gradually th middle tones and light portions. Now the face is almost complete but some highlights and the reflection of the back ground. First made the highlighhts in one layer and then took blue in anew layer on top and selected darker colo mode. The painting is done.

Portrait

This is a charcoal work on paper. I use charcoal pencil to arrest the dark portions of the face. To get the volume of the portrait the cross hatching technique is followed. First the strocks are drawn in same angle and then with a differcnce so that crosses are made. The dencity of strocks and crosses creates the dark and middle tones antd the light portions are left paper white. To have a better effect I used the rough surface of the Cartridge paper.
